Real jazzcats will definitely get their money's worth at the Grand Place, but pure and uncut jazz will also be abundantly present at the other stages. Adventurers and hipsters who dig the new Belgian jazz movement - which, by the way, is bursting with talent - can indulge themselves with the likes of GLOMERIS, bruusk, FLOSS, SLAGADER, NAIRAA, Terrain Vaag.
The cool cats that are more into soul, funk, R'n'B and incredible vocalists will get their fix with Furah, Gaidaa, Manou Gallo Orchestra, Shakara United, Abigail Johnson.
B-boys and -girls, or all those who like to dance to pumping Hip Hop and break-beats, should not miss C-RHYMS, FOꓘKOP. UNPLUGGD & Kunde.
Ravers and clubbers who enjoy hard tight beats, hard-hitting drums, or electronic sounds, you’d better mark Glass Museum, Wet Enough!?, Ciao Kennedy, Lucid Lucia Ft. DJ Courtasock.
World travellers and lovers of exotic sounds and world music should definitely check out Kaito Winse, Orson Claes, Marco Mezquida Trio, Manou Gallo Orchestra. You can even get really into the groove at the 'Salsa Matinee concert' with Los Gatos de Latin Jazz and Banda Bruselas on Sunday noon.
If you’re feeling classy, a whole range of Vanguards performing classical jazz is ready to sweep you off your feet! Don’t miss out on the next gen musicians such as Jim Monneau, Tristan Bernaud Project, DIANE and NAIRAA.
For old school jazz, a dash of blues and a sultry New Orleans atmosphere, go check Laurent Doumont Sextet, Rêve d’Elephant Orchestra, Flat Earth Society, among others.
During The Busker Blues sessions, Big Dave & The Dutchmen, Ruben Bertrands & Wayward Son, Well Well Well, Steven Troch & Shakedown Tim, Smokestack Charlie, Tom Eylenbosch & Olivier Vander Bauwede bring authentic blues to life in a cosy and relaxed setting.
And that's just some of the outdoor programme. The indoor programme is equally diverse, but with the added charm of a boiling jazz club or cosy bar.
