Jazz guitarist Haroun Iqbal has been immersing himself in the West African kora tradition for the past few years. The resulting solos are rooted in the style of Toumani Diabaté and Ballaké Sissoko with subtle influences from jazz and North Indian classical music. Iqbal was voted one of Klara's The « Twentysomethings » this year. One to watch!
